We’ve sat up high
For the years come to pass
And looked up upon,
The same starry night sky
Watching as our eyes collide the horizon
Time and time again
We feel a curious presence
And a wondering mind
As a wondrous shooting star
Cascades the heavens,
Want to make this wish?
Wish upon a mysterious traveler
As we countdown the seconds
Three, two, one
You think,
Think of your greatest desire
And smile silently in the moonlight
For tonight, we received one wish
A hope, a dream, a reality
Anything,
But I just wished
You didn’t have to go

Two simple colours

Outside,

lustrous and vibrate

Admired so immensely

But inside,

Dulled and withering

Fearing the animosity of loneliness

Dreaming of sweet compassion

Just to imagine

A moment’s euphoria

Blended ever so beautifully

Of pure fascination

Like crystallized fantasy

Awaiting realization

Seeking their harmonisation

To collide side by side

As two simple colours run

They wake as one

It’s days like these

To take the ease

Lay out in the green grass

Until the day’s last

Shade of the great oak tree

A breeze to set you free

And warmth of the cheerful sun

Let your thoughts wildly run

As you drift away

This day’s here to stay

I know there’s this monster
It’s insatiable hunger for death
Deep inside me,
Ravaging and thrashing to be free

I know life is like this;
This upside-down hourglass
Seemingly nothing to do but,
Watch the ominous sand fall

I know I’m weak
But…
I have heart and soul
My indestructible compassion

I know I’m scared
But…
I have courage and spirit
My fearless confidence

I know my time is short
As the sand slips through my fingers
I want to know more
What am I fighting for?

I know someone Is there
Out there somewhere
To help keep this beast at bay
